End Point Assessment
BPS Assessment & Awards Limited offers end-point assessment (EPA) services for training providers. Whilst offering support and valuable resources throughout the assessment process, on how to best prepare apprentices for gateway and the ultimate end-point assessment.
We currently offer end-point assessments in the following:
End-point Assessment (EPA) is the final stage of an Apprenticeship and requires the Apprentice to demonstrate that they have developed the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSB) outlined in the apprenticeship standard.
The EPA is designed by subject matter experts and is based on the apprenticeship standard. The EPA is delivered by an independent End-point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) and is assessed by independent assessors, who are highly qualified in the field.
Once all elements of the apprenticeship are completed, including the EPA, the apprentice will receive their apprenticeship certificate from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE).
Depending on the Apprenticeship, the Apprentice may also be eligible for professional recognition by an authorised body once they have passed their EPA.
End-point assessments are arranged to suit the needs of the employer or training provider and apprentice. We provide a high quality, convenient end-point assessment (EPA) service using highly qualified Assessors who are experts in their field.
We offer employer and training providers the following support:
- Pre EPA-guidance via zoom call, which allows us to discuss the apprenticeship standard, the gateway and booking processes and costs.
- Information to help you throughout the planning, gateway and EPA processes.
- Highly qualified, expert occupationally competent Assessors who carry out the EPA.
- Rapid turnaround of results.
- Relevant and helpful feedback.
- Dedicated provider portal with support materials and resources.
- Flexible EPA delivery methods and options where relevant and appropriate to apprenticeship standard.
