Applications are open for the William Inman Prize, which is awarded by the BPS every five years. The winner will be chosen by the Society's Research Board and will receive £2,500 for equipment and books used in psychological research.
The award is named after Dr Willian Inman, who was an ophthalmic surgeon and psychoanalyst. The prize is awarded in memory of his research and recognises original published work that focuses on the effects of psychological factors on physical conditions, with a preference for research that focuses on psychodynamic or psychotherapeutic factors and eye conditions.
Nominations for the 2025 award will close on Sunday, 31 August at 11.59 pm.
