Register for aviation psychologists

The British Psychological Society has launched a new directory to allow the aviation industry to find psychologists with expertise in the area. In the UK and Europe it is a legal requirement for an aviation psychologist to oversee the psychological assessment of pilots.

The Civil Aviation Authority has determined that HCPC-registered chartered psychologists with experience working in the aviation industry can carry out the assessment of pilots in the UK – psychologists may also be involved in areas including peer support.
