The BPS has announced funding for Early Career Study Visit and Postgraduate Study Visit schemes. Up to £1,200 is available for early-career and postgraduate researchers to further their studies at other national and international universities.

The early career funding is open to UK-based lecturers and researchers who have completed a doctoral research degree in the last eight years and are BPS members, to visit an academic institution of their choice. The postgraduate funding is open to members of the BPS who are currently registered at a UK university for a doctoral degree in psychology.

Both schemes offer funding for research study visits of up to six weeks. The funding available for both schemes is up to £500 to visit an institution in the UK, up to £800 to visit an institution in Europe and up to £1,200 to visit an institution elsewhere in the world.

See information on eligibility and how to apply for the early career scheme and the postgraduate scheme. Applications close at 11.59pm on Sunday, 8 June 2025.
