Professor Dawn Watling, professor of psychology and pro-vice-chancellor (postgraduate research) at Royal Holloway, University of London, and former associate editor for Infant and Child Development, has been appointed as co-editor-in-chief of the British Journal of Developmental Psychology (BJDP).

Dawn joins us with an expertise in using a variety of developmental methods and approaches. She is seeking to promote interdisciplinary research and work where researchers have partnered with organisations and/or those who have lived experience to co-design research.

Published quarterly, the BJDP is a leading international journal publishing scholarship on all aspects of psychological development across the lifespan. It welcomes original empirical research, novel theoretical reviews, methodological papers, and systematic reviews.

Sun-Joo Cho, professor of quantitative methods in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University, has joined us as editor-in-chief of the British Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Psychology (BJMSP).

Sun-Joo has served as both an associate editor and a consulting editor for journals including Psychometrika, Journal of Educational Measurement, Psychological Methods, Behavior Research Methods, and International Journal of Testing.

Sun-Joo brings expertise in statistical modelling of individual differences within complex data structures using general modelling frameworks, and a deep understanding of context-sensitive research methods. Within this new role she is seeking to promote innovative methodologies and foster a diverse and inclusive academic community.

Now in Volume 77, BJMSP is a leading international, interdisciplinary journal publishing advances in quantitative methodologies in psychology.

If you are interested in submitting your research to either of these journals, please visit the journals' homepages for full author guidelines and further information.
