We're celebrating Volunteers Week, which runs from 2 June until 9 June 2025, and highlights the contributions of people who give up their time to make a difference in all walks of life.
Our psychological community is only what it is because so many of our members are willing to give their expertise and time.
Dr Roman Raczka, BPS President 2024-2026, said:
"Thousands of our members help the society in lots of different ways, and we want to acknowledge this and say thank you for all that you do.
"Whether it's by helping to run our member networks, contributing to a report, document or consultation response, or sitting on one of our boards or committees, we wouldn't be able to do what we do without our members.
"Whether you've been part of our community for a number of years, or have just become involved, we wanted to remind you that your contribution is really appreciated by everyone at the BPS."
