The publication is being launched later this year, and this is a great opportunity to be involved in this exciting new peer-reviewed title, which will fill a gap by providing a bridge between occupational psychology research and practice.
As Psychology Editor, you will play a key role in helping steer the course of OPO in line with the division's publishing strategy.
Working closely with the Editorial Manager you will take part in developing the Editorial Board and liaise regularly with the DOP chair to progress the aims of the division.
To apply you need to be a member of the DOP qualified in occupational/organisational psychology to doctoral level (e.g., CPsychol, PhD, Prof Doc) or be able to demonstrate equivalent expertise by experience.
Evidence of publishing or writing for scientific or practitioner journals is essential for this position, as is experience of reviewing articles for publication.
You will possess a significant grasp of debates across occupational psychology and a proven ability to lead and inspire others while working effectively to meet deadlines and demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
Janet Fraser, chair of the DOP, said: "The DOP Committee is proud and excited about starting up this new publication.
"Occupational Psychology Outlook is an excellent opportunity for us to take occupational psychology forward.
"We're all looking ahead with high hopes to the launch and a chance to read the first issue"
The post pays an honorarium per issue and the deadline for applications is noon on Friday 29 April.
The DOP is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from people from all backgrounds.
