Psychologists quizzed by kids in new 'I’m a Scientist – Get me out here!'
More than 40 psychologists are taking part in the BPS sponsored section of ‘I’m a Scientist – Get me out of here!' an online competition with students as the judge.

Taking place this month the competition involves students challenging psychologists over intense, fast-paced, online live chats. Then they ask the psychologists any question they like and vote for their favourite to win a prize of £500 to communicate their work with the public.
James Gudgeon, who won the Decision Zone in a previous 'I'm a Scientist' competition said:
"We all had so much fun chatting with everyone through 'I'm a Scientist' - students, teachers, moderators, and other scientists.
The questions were great - we really had to think concisely and creatively about some of our answers [and] they certainly kept us on our toes.
The students and schools that took part did so with a great deal of excitement, enthusiasm, and eagerness.
Through their questions we got a glimpse of how children's minds are working, what's happening in their science lessons at the moment, what's truly important to them, and how they use science or a scientific approach to explore and investigate our world."
The Psychology Zone takes place from 2 to 27 November.
The psychologists involved have a huge range of backgrounds and experiences.
