
Nominations for the DCoP Annual Prizes are now open
The Division of Counselling Psychology (DCoP) annual prizes are open to counselling psychologists at all stages of their careers.

We are delighted to announce the opening of nominations for our annual prizes.
We have four awards aimed at Counselling Psychologist colleagues at any level of experience – from trainees to those in the later stages of their careers. Our awards are:
- Annual award for carer and service user involvement
- Annual award for diversity
- Annual award for innovation
- Annual supervisor/mentor/ trainer award
Prizes:
- Free one-day registration on Friday 5th July at our 30th Anniversary Conference at Glasgow Caledonian University – to include a presentation at our awards ceremony.
- In each of the four categories, all nominations and a summary of the winners' work will be published on the Division of Counselling Psychology website and widely disseminated.
If you know a colleague who deserves recognition, why not nominate them for one of these awards?

Nominations are now also open for our annual Trainee Prize.
The Trainee Prize aims to promote and encourage excellence in the training and practice of counselling psychology.
Submissions must:
- Be a piece of coursework that has been assessed as part of the trainee's counselling psychology training including, for example, client studies, theoretical essays, and literature reviews.
- Demonstrate excellence and originality in an area relevant to counselling psychology and other applied psychologies.
- Have a word limit of 5,000 words.
Prizes:
The winner will be awarded a prize of £100, while the two runners-up will receive £50 each.
The winner and runners-up will receive a free one-day registration on Friday 5th July at our 30th Anniversary Conference at Glasgow Caledonian University – to include a presentation at our awards ceremony.
