The group, co-chaired by Dr Pete Keohane (University of Plymouth) and Dr Paul Fisher (University of East Anglia), claimed the prestigious Best Educational Programme for the NHS Award at the National Healthcare Journal Partnership Awards.
The award was collected by the group's chairs and members, NHS trailblazers, supervisors and Clinical Associates in Psychology (CAPs) themselves.
CAPs help services to reduce waiting times, improve care and enable meaningful transformation, as part of the wider psychological workforce.
The society is the accrediting body for CAP training, and was part of the CAP Apprenticeship Trailblazer Group which supported the development and establishment of apprenticeship training.
As part of the society's launch of new membership grades last year, CAPs are now eligible to become full members, and will be able to join our Wider Psychological Workforce Register later this year.
