The PSA is an independent organisation which is accountable to the UK government. It is an oversight body for organisations which register health and care professionals working in regulated professions, such as the Health and Care Professions Council.
Following the consultation period, the PSA will be publishing a three-year strategic plan, covering the period from 2023 to 2023, against which it will review its progress annually.
You can read the three-year draft plan on its website, along with more details on the consultation. The consultation is an important opportunity to shape the PSA's strategy and have your say on the future of regulation.
If you would like to contribute to the BPS's response to the consultation, please contact Nigel Atter using the consultation response form before 24 January 2023.
You can also respond to the consultation as an individual via the PSA website.
