Funding boost to Public Health Grant welcome, says BPS
The government’s has an additional £200m for the Public Health Grant.

Welcoming the Government's announcement of a £200m funding boost to the Public Health Grant, Dr Roman Raczka, President of the British Psychological Society said:
"Any increase in funding from government with the aim of improving public health is welcome, as is a renewed focus on prevention programmes. To match this uplift, we need targeted action to help people out of poverty as well as a coordinated effort to grow the psychological workforce. Only then will we truly be able to support people in living healthier lives."
