
Evidence-Based Mental Health journal becomes fully open access
The journal Evidence-Based Mental Health, which the BPS owned jointly with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and the BMJ, is going online only.

It will also be changing its name to BMJ Mental Health and becoming a fully open-access journal.
As part of the transition process, the BMJ has purchased the other organisations' shares in the journal, but to continue the collaborative relationship, our members will receive a 15 per cent discount code on the journal's article processing charge to publish in the journal.
As a Plan S transformative journal, the BMJ has been monitoring the level of open access in the journal, which recent hit 70 per cent, prompting the transition to a fully open access model.
