About the AGM
The Division of Clinical Psychology - Scotland AGM 2023 will be held on Friday 24 November 2023.
The event will begin at 12:00 and be held via Zoom (details to follow).
Call for Committee positions
There are a number of vacant positions on the Committee for which Members can nominate themselves.
The following roles are open only Full Members of DCP Scotland with voting rights:
- Chair (1 year Chair, 1 year Past Chair)
- Chair Elect (1 year Chair Elect, 1 year Chair, 1 year Past Chair)
- Honorary Secretary (3 years)
- Honorary Treasurer (3 years)
- Committee Member x2 (3 years)
The following roles are open to any member of DCP Scotland with voting rights:
- Committee Member x2 (3 years)
How to apply
Nominees must consent to the statement of interest for it to be valid and also complete brief biographical details of not more than 300 words. This information will be used should a vote be necessary.
To be elected into one of the above vacancies, please submit an application or nomination via our online form.
Your completed online form must be received no later than 12 noon on Thursday 12 October 2023.
Call for Resolution items for discussion at the AGM
Members by the Division of Clinical Psychology - Scotland can submit their resolution proposals for the AGM.
Resolution items must fall within the Objects of the Society for it to be discussed at the AGM.
The item will be considered by the society or the Division of Clinical Psychology - Scotland Committee.
If the resolution item has been acted on by the society or Division of Clinical Psychology - Scotland Committee before the AGM, then it may be agreed with the member that the item will be removed from the AGM agenda.
If a resolution item is included on the AGM agenda, the member may be requested to talk on the matter at the AGM.
The following discussion will be minuted and if necessary, an electronic ballot will be arranged after the AGM to enable the voting Division of Clinical Psychology - Scotland membership to vote on the resolution item.
Please note that only items that are included on the AGM agenda may be discussed; there is no 'any other business' at this type of General Meeting.

Only Members with voting rights are able to raise resolution items.
