Committee positions
The following committee vacancies are available.
We would welcome statements of interest for consideration by the Executive Committee prior to the AGM on 16 June 2023.
- Chair
- Honorary Secretary with special interest in Culture and Difference within and across Ethnic Communities (CDEC)
- Honorary Treasurer
- Vice Chair
Each of these positions is for a 1 year tenure and all applicants must be Full Members of the Division of Counselling Psychology with voting rights.
Co-opted tenure can be renewed for a maximum of three 1 year terms (3 years in total).
As a requirement of the Officer roles (Chair, Past Chair, Chair-Elect, Honorary Secretary with Special Interest in CDEC and Honorary Treasurer) and the Vice Chair role, you would be required to join any of the six clusters: education and training, professional practice, communications, research, ethics and standards, bringing psychology to the public.
The Vice-Chair will assist the Chair in their duties. Assuming the role of Vice Chair does not mean the member would automatically progress to the Chair role.
Further details about the roles can be found in the following links.
We encourage interest in the committee from all members and across a span of experiences.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact member network services for more information.
Deadline: statements of interest must be received no later than 12 noon on Wednesday 07 June 2023 at 12pm.
Without the Elected and Appointed roles taken up by member volunteers on the committee, we cannot undertake activities for the benefit of our members and the promotion of the profession.
