Following the chair election process for the BPS EoE Branch committee, chartered psychologist Annilee Game, professor of organisational psychology and deputy head of Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, has taken up the position for the next three years.

Professor Game was co-opted onto the committee as chair in January 2022 and has championed the branch to members and the public since that time.

She plans to continue in this work, intensifying efforts, and believes the branch has a key role to play in supporting members to achieve their potential in their chosen area of psychology.

Professor Game said:

"I'm passionate about the power of psychology to make a difference to people's lives. As chair of the East of England Branch, I'm delighted to continue working with the committee and all our members to strengthen the East of England psychology community and promote psychology more widely.

"As well as providing opportunities for psychologists from diverse backgrounds to come together to network and share ideas, I'm going to be working with the committee to increase the number of student members we have.

"Students are the future of psychology, so I believe it is important to continue to invest time in events to promote the benefits of the BPS and create a sense of belonging early in the psychology journey of young people."

Professor Game leads the BPS accredited MSc in Organisational Psychology at Norwich Business School and conducts research on work and wellbeing, with a particular interest in applications of attachment theory to leadership.
