Up to £3,000 of funding is up for grabs to encourage people who are studying or working in academia to collaborate on scientific seminars.
The British Psychological Society's Research Seminar Competition is offering the funding to help support BPS members deliver scientific seminars with another academic or research institutions.
The grant can be used for travel and accommodation related to attending and delivering the seminar; a cost that can often impact how easily someone can attend an academic event.
The competition is open to members at every stage of their academic career, from early career researchers, right through to seasoned lecturers. The BPS Research Board will review all the applications and will award funding to a maximum of four submissions.
Visit the Research Seminar Competition webpage for more information about the award and how to enter.
Applications close on the 24 August 2025, so be sure to get your applications in as soon as possible.
