Working with couples and intimate relationship groups: Where to begin?
- Relationships and romance

A study by Relate found nearly one-in-five (18%) of the population are in relationships which could be characterised as 'distressed'.
However, the coverage of specialist relationship help (trained couples counsellors or psychotherapists) shows that there is only one therapist available for every 21,500 people living in the UK. Extensive international research supports the benefits of couple therapy in alleviating relationship distress and enhancing relationship quality.
This webinar will offer insights into working with couples and intimate relationship groups along with practical tools and techniques specifically for working in this area as opposed to individual therapy.
It will help you to approach relationship issues with greater confidence and a more structured framework, as well as integrate new conflict resolution tools into your practice and provide more nuanced support to clients dealing with intimacy and relational challenges.
It also serves as a foundation to pursue further independent study or training in relationship psychology.
