About
This event is only for newly qualified forensic psychologists and creates an opportunity to meet together, to recognise and reflect on the achievement of qualification and to consider the next stages of a career in forensic psychology.
We will be joined by service leads from across the Nations to share with us the strategic direction for forensic psychology in their services and opportunities that are arising for practitioners. We will hear from those who have set up in private practice – how to do that, what considerations are important. We will also hear from those offering 'top-up' Doctoral qualifications for those seeking further study.
The DFP committee members will share why the DFP is an important part of our professional journey and how we can continue to support you in your career and progression.
The event will also allow us to join with you to celebrate your achievement in qualifying as a forensic psychologist. It will offer those attending time and space to network, raise issues important to them and share with us the things they want to see the committee doing to support them.
Lunch is included and those attending this event will be eligible for discounted rates for the rest of the conference (trainee rate, rather than qualified rate).
Numbers are limited for this event at 100 and will be allocated according to those who apply, provide full information and depending on our receipt of confirmation from your training route.
Event will be held at:
