About

This one-day event is for psychology teachers and educators in schools, colleges and universities in Scotland.

Contemporary issues including student transition, engagement, inclusivity, skills and career development, and mental wellbeing will be explored by speakers presenting perspectives from the different sectors, and with a focus on open discussion amongst participants.

Psychology and mental health courses in Scottish schools are more popular than ever, but the environment seems to become ever more challenging.

We hope this event will encourage the development of links across the sectors, for the benefit of students and teachers alike, and provide welcome CPD support for psychology teachers for whom CPD may be difficult to access.

The venue is only a few minutes' walk from Queen Street Station and Buchanan Street Bus Station.

Lunch is not included but there are café facilities in the venue and several food outlets nearby. Participants are also welcome to bring their own picnic lunch to eat in the venue.

Location:

  • University of Strathclyde
