About
Prehabilitation is a fast developing area of cancer care in the UK. It's growth is fuelled by a combination of successful early adopters such as Prehab4Cancer in Manchester, national guidance such these examples from Macmillan and Prehabilitation for Scotland, many local developments across the UK, and an expanding research base. It's timely to explore the potential contribution of applied psychology.
This event will inform practitioner psychologists about recent policy and practice developments in prehabilitation for cancer treatment in the UK, and bring together colleagues working in this area to share ideas and experiences about how psychologists can best make a contribution to cancer prehabilitation.
