In this themed networking event, committee members Meghana Kamble and Jess West will discuss their research and practice in the area of family and communication.

Members will be invited to discuss their own interests and future branch activities they would like to see. Member input will help inform ongoing branch activity planning.

Programme

About the speakers

Jess West is a Family and Systemic Practitioner, currently furthering her training to qualify as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist. She currently holds a number of job titles, all of which hold an appreciation for the role of family. She will be talking about Narrative Practice and why each person's story matters.

Meghana Kamble is an applied developmental psychologist (UK) with a practice and leadership background in clinical psychology (non-UK). Her research is in parenting and family-centred interventions for families of children with developmental disabilities. Meghana will discuss family communication as a means to understand how childhood disability shapes the family unit.
