About
The Cognitive sections Annual Conference 2024 will be held on 27-29 August at Swansea University.
The Conference theme this year, "Addressing Old and Contemporary Challenges Through Cognitive Research", embraces presentations from all fields of cognitive psychology.
We will be showcasing novel empirical findings, theoretical debates and methodological advances relating to the broad field of cognitive psychology.
Researchers are encouraged to showcase their latest findings but also engage in meaningful discussions that bridge the gap between traditional and contemporary perspectives in cognitive psychology.
The conference seeks to foster a vibrant exchange of ideas, encouraging professionals to explore the frontiers of cognitive research and contribute to a better understanding of the human mind in the face of old and contemporary challenges.

Conference Dinner
The conference dinner is an additional charge, the early rate is £60. The standard rate charge is £65, this comes into effect on 12 August 2024. The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday 28 August at Swansea University.
Conference Social
The conference social taking place on Tuesday 27 August is an additional charge of £30.
How to register
Returning customers (members and non-members)
In order to register for the event you will need to sign in using your BPS website login details.
We have implemented a new Membership Database and if you haven't received your pre-registration email you will need to request your unique registration link.
Once you have the link, you can complete your registration on our portal.
Once you have registered on the portal please use your username and password to log in and register for the event.
