Thesis

Teaching in Higher Education: Supporting and Inspiring Students, or THESIS, is a group of education focused academics in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, led by Prof Danijela Serbic. The group has a dual focus in supporting university students through their studies and in supporting academics in their career development through education, pedagogy and scholarship. For this keynote, Prof Victoria Bourne, one of the founding members of THESIS, will provide an overview of development and structure of the group, and then staff and students from the group will provide further insights into some specific THESIS initiatives around developing pedagogic research, supporting student wellbeing and diversifying the curriculum.
