This workshop provides a valuable CPD opportunity for current practitioners of wish to gain an insight into an emerging technique in sport psychology.
The workshop also offers QSEP candidates an opportunity to understand the theory, research, and application of a prominent counselling approach.
This interactive workshop will provide an introduction to the theory and practice of REBT as applied within sport and performance settings.
Target audience
This entry-level workshop is aimed at trainee and qualified sport and exercise psychologists with no training in REBT. But this could include late career practitioners too, who have not trained in REBT.
The workshop will be valuable to those undergoing QSEP, postgraduate students, and qualified sport and exercise psychologists who are not trained in REBT. Previous knowledge of REBT is not needed for this workshop as we will introduce the theory at a beginner's level.
In brief, the workshop is for those with an interest in REBT but not with a background in REBT (i.e., not trained). It's important to stress that this is not a full REBT training course, but provides a taste of the use of REBT in sport. No previous REBT knowledge is needed to attend.
