Join consultant clinical neuropsychologist Henk Swanepoel and members of the South West Branch to understand the impact of alcohol on the brain and the syndromes associated with alcohol-related brain damage.

Learn about how alcohol causes damage to the brain, the cognitive effects of alcohol and the neuropsychiatric problems that arise from alcohol use.

This exciting BPS event will be presented by Professor Vaughan Bell, who is a professor of clinical psychology and cognitive neuropsychiatry at University College London and a consultant clinical psychologist in the neuropsychiatry department of the Maudsley Hospital. 

The purpose of this connection event is to bring together attendees to provide an opportunity to network, to share ideas and insights.

Due to the two way interactive nature of the event, this event will not be recorded and certificates of attendance will not be issued.
