The Occupational Psychology Qualifications Board is responsible for the assessment and award of the society’s Qualification in Occupational Psychology (Stage 2), which provides eligibility to apply for Chartered Membership of the BPS, and to apply to the Health and Care Professions Council for registration as an Occupational Psychologist.
Occupational Psychology Qualifications Board - Vacancy for Academic Member
The Board is currently seeking to appoint an academic member.
The applicant must have at least 2 years’ experience as both a Chartered Member of the BPS and Full Member of the Division of Occupational Psychology, and must be registered as an Occupational Psychologist with the HCPC.
They must also have recent experience within an academic setting relevant to occupational psychology and will be expected to contribute to the activities of the Board from an academic perspective.
The appointment is for three years.
The Board usually meets three times a year plus occasional teleconferences.
Face-to-face meetings are normally held in either Leicester or London.
This is a voluntary role, although travel and subsistence expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the society’s policy.
