Marc Robert Smith

I am a teacher of A-level psychology at a state secondary school in North Yorkshire as well as a part-time PhD student at the University of York.

My PhD research is an investigation into academic buoyancy (day-to-day resilience) and its impact on long-term academic achievement.

I have written on a number topics including gender differences in A-level psychology and the future of A-level psychology. I blog for the Guardian on topics related to education and am a member of the Guardian Teacher Network panel.
