Practice & Professional Development Advisor
We are seeking a Practice & Professional Development Advisor to join our friendly and supportive Professional Practice and Development team at the British Psychological Society.
Salary: £38,476
Contract: Permanent
Location: Leicester / London / Hybrid

This team delivers practice guidance and continuing professional development for Psychologists.
This role involves producing professional guidance and CPD/training resources to assist practitioners in their day-to-day work. This will include:
- Horizon scanning to identify opportunities, and preparing business cases for development
- Project managing the development of high-quality content to co-create practice guidance and professional development resources
- Ensuring the development and ongoing management of each product is in alignment with relevant policies, latest research and best practices and meets the requirements of members, other professionals, and regulatory bodies including HCPC
- Working closely with our members, subject matter experts and other stakeholders

You should:
- Be educated to degree level, ideally in Psychology or a related science (or have equivalent relevant knowledge and skills)
- Have experience of managing and delivering projects within a membership organisation or the Higher Education sector and be comfortable developing professional practice and development products for psychology professionals
- Have demonstrable experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Be highly organised and able to juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Have excellent ICT and editorial skills
- Have a commitment to continuous learning and development for yourself and others in the field.
