For all of our members, engaging with CPD is a professional expectation and an individual responsibility. However, it is mandatory for some members to undertake and record CPD.
This could be because you are on one of our registers such as the:
In which case you will be part of our cyclical CPD revalidation process.
Alternatively you might be on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register or be subject to a designation awarded on behalf of an external body, such as a Science Council award.
For more information on the revalidation process for our different registers please select from the links in the right-hand column.
If we select you for audit, we will communicate with you throughout the process to ensure you have all the information you need.
We recommend the use of MyCPD to plan, record and reflect on your CPD online. This will allow you to simply submit your MyCPD record to us if you are audited.
Submissions are assessed by the Society’s Membership Advisory Group (MAG) who liaise with us around records and provide the basis for your feedback and comments.
