This year's Stories of Psychology event will look at the history of emotions

Our popular annual Stories of Psychology event returns this October, with seven speakers and a panel discussion considering how emotions have changed over time, and looking at the history of emotions from a psychological perspective.

The following seven speakers have been confirmed for the event:-

  • Dr Paul Sullivan (Bradford University)
  • Proferssor Fraser Watts (University of Lincoln)
  • Dr Sally Holloway (Oxford Brookes University)
  • Dr Sarah Chaney (Centre for the History of the Emotions, Queen Mary)
  • Dr Richard Firth-Godbehere (Centre for the History of the Emotions, Queen Mary)
  • Dr Tiffany Watt-Smith (Centre for the History of the Emotions, Queen Mary)
  • Professor Thomas Dixon (Centre for the History of the Emotions, Queen Mary)
 
The event will once again be held at Senate House Library in London, on Tuesday 16 October, with tickets costing £15, including refreshments and a light buffet lunch.
