Concepts in gender science are the focus of two upcoming events.
Professor Christina Richards, Chair of the BPS Division of Counselling Psychology, will lead a workshop on concepts of gender and sexuality at the BPS annual conference in May.
But there’s also a chance to hear her speak in the lead-up to the conference, as she examines the lived experience of trans and non-binary people and discusses those who venture beyond the expectations given to them at birth.
"Capturing the Ephemeral: Tales from the Edge of Gender Science" is Professor Richards’ inaugural lecture as Visiting Professor of Gender and Mental Health at Regent’s University London.
The gender and sexuality workshop will feature at the BPS annual conference, which takes place on 1-2 May at the Harrogate Convention Centre.
