Kathryn Scott, the Society’s Director of Policy, will give an inside view of how public policy is made at a free event for Society members next month.
It will take place at the Society’s London office on Tuesday 5 March (6-7pm).
Kathryn Scott said:
“Psychology has so much to offer policymakers at Westminster and in the devolved governments of the UK. Our role at the BPS is to make sure that our expertise, evidence and experience is at the heart of government.
“I will be talking about how the Society can maximise the impact of psychology in the world of public policy and how members can get involved.”
Kathryn Scott will describe the Society’s own policymaking process and the work going on to promote this year’s policy priority of children and young people.
She will offer advice on how members can bring forward their own areas of concern and have them adopted as a policy priorities in future years.
This is a free event for Society members. Book your place online.
