An honorary BPS life member known for championing the value of diversity in clinical psychology will speak at a Psychotherapy Section event this autumn.
Professor Zenobia Nadirshaw MBE will take part in ‘The outsider: inclusion and exclusion in the therapeutic relationship’ at the BPS London office on Friday 18 October 2019.
The day will explore the therapeutic relationship and the barriers that exclude marginalised groups. It will ask who is excluded from treatment, how they can he helped and how therapists can become more inclusive.
The other speakers will be Dick Blackwell, Isabel Clarke, Dr Phil Cox and Dr Farhad Dalal.
