Free journal resources on therapy outcomes in mental health

10 August 2018

A free virtual special issue of our journal Psychology and Psychotherapy: Theory, Research and Practice (PaPTRaP) has been launched, focusing on the psychological and social factors underlying therapy outcomes across a range of mental health problems.

The papers included cover topics such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, mediation analysis, and much more.

Sandra Bucci and Katherine Berry, editors of PaPTRaP, said:

"We have selected this topic in particular to provide an opportunity to showcase the types of papers we would like to attract.

When we took over as editors in January 2017, we aimed to sharpen the focus of the journal by prioritising publication of methodologically rigorous papers addressing the psychological and social processes that underlie the development and maintenance of mental health problems, and that inform psychological treatments.

In this virtual issue, we include a selection of papers that we believe represents a broad spectrum of mechanistic and outcome research."
