The way in which child sexual exploitation affects young people, their families and communities will be explored in a BPS workshop run by our Professional Development Centre.
The event, led by Dr Laura Smith and Dr Fiona Tait, will examine psychologically informed practice in this challenging field.
Those taking part will be given practice examples, tools and skills. The day will also look at the factors that can make CSE more likely.
The workshop is designed for clinical, counselling and forensic psychologists, and those working for qualifications in these areas, whether you work in mental health services, the voluntary sector or social care settings.
The workshop takes place on 10 May at the society’s London office. You can find full details and book your place online.
