BPS sponsors two awards for psychology technicians

11 December 2019

Psychology technicians are the unsung heroes of research and teaching in the discipline, so the BPS is keen to recognise their importance.

Alongside the Association for Technical Staff in Psychology, we make awards each year for technical support in psychology research and in psychology teaching.

Technicians do not have not to be BPS members to be nominated. Follow the links above for full details of the awards, including how to make a nomination.

Professor Daryl O’Connor, chair of the BPS Research Board, says:

Anyone involved in university psychology departments, as staff or student, will know that technicians are at the heart of their work.

I am delighted, along with the chair of the BPS Education and Training Board Dr Juliet Foster, to support these awards.
