The BPS has joined a coalition of 50 organisations that campaigns to eradicate child poverty in the UK.
Judith Cavanagh, coordinator of the End Child Poverty coalition, said:
“I am delighted the BPS has joined End Child Poverty and look forward to working closely with psychologists in the future.
Psychology has important insights to offer in the fight against poverty - in particular through designing effective community-based interventions.”
In October BPS Senate chose ‘From poverty to flourishing’ as our policy campaign for 2020.
