Behaviour change event aims to make the workplace greener

06 September 2016

Our Division of Occupational Psychology’s 'Going Green' Working Group is holding a one-day conference on ‘Behaviour Change in Action’ at the Society’s London offices on Monday 19 September.

The conference is open to professionals and practitioners from all fields as well as members of the public. It will consider the latest psychological research and practical examples of pro-environmental behaviour change in the workplace.

It is hoped that by sharing the knowledge and experience of different disciplines, we will become better equipped to tackle the difficulties of making the workplaces more sustainable.

Speakers on the day will include:

  • Dr Carmen Lefevre (Centre for Behaviour Change, University College London): Behaviour change wheel
  • Professor Lorraine Whitmarsh (School of Psychology, Cardiff University): 'Behaviour change or lifestyle change? Evidence and prospects for behavioural ‘spillover’
  • John Mulholland (behaviour change specialist): 'From here to obliquity'

There will also be a series of workshops and presentations and opportunities to network.

You can find further details and book your place on the conference’s webpage.
