Your Committee needs you!

We are seeking new members to join our friendly Committee and have a number of interesting roles you could get involved with, including to help organise the Special Group for Psychology and Social Care Conference in November.

The work of the Special Group is largely achieved through the dedication of its volunteers. Our volunteers come from a wide range of different backgrounds, whether they be practitioners or academics.

Volunteering offers you a gateway to acquire new skills, network with other psychologists, be the first to hear about new developments and opportunities, as well as giving something back to the profession. You might also gain evidence for continuing professional development.

The Special Group is an open and inclusive community, just like the profession it represents. It doesn’t matter if you are just starting out in your career or have many years of experience, whether you are an academic or practitioner, we would like to hear from you. Some roles require more commitment, others not so much.

The committee position will be up until the Annual General Meeting in November 2022
