The purpose of this section is to promote psychology in education and the interests of psychologists engaged in schools, further and higher education, child guidance and the wider community.

Researching Education: Informing Educational Practice 

Submissions are welcomed on the following topics:
•    How educational practice can be informed by psychological theory
•    How theoretical advances in psychology can be usefully applied to education
•    Studies drawing on and testing, psychological, or educational psychology theories
•    How theory and empirical finding can be applied by educational and psychological practitioners

Keynote speakers
The three keynote speakers from 2020 have agreed to join us. Prof. Tina Hascher (University Bern) will speak about alienation from school, Dr Alice Jones-Bertoli (Goldsmiths, University of London) will speak on school behaviour and mental health, and Prof. Blatchford (UCL Institute of Education) will present the Vernon-Wall lecture on social pedagogy.
