North of England Bulletin - Call for contributionsShow content
We would like to invite all members of the BPS North West and BPS North East of England to submit contributions to the BPS North of England Bulletin.
The next edition is scheduled for publication in June 2021.
In the bulletin we aim to promote the work of all psychologists working in the North of England and to provide information and updates to all BPS members in the region. In particular we aim to update you on latest developments in teaching, research and practice as well as providing details of upcoming events, latest news, training and development opportunities and details of upcoming books.
A range of submissions will be considered for publication including research articles, book reviews, latest developments in practice, research and teaching and event reviews.
We are also particularly keen to hear from post-graduate students for ‘500 word thesis’ feature where you can briefly outline your research in the style of a conference abstract.
We would also like to hear from anyone who would be interested in taking part in a series of Q&A podcasts which we are hoping to trial this year.
The length of submissions is typically between 500 – 1000 words (however, longer submissions of up to 1500 words may be considered for research reports).
The deadline for submission for the forthcoming issue is 09 April 2021.
For more information please contact either Grant McGeechan or Jimmy Petruzziello (co-editors) at [email protected]
A Day in the Life of a Local Psychologist - Call for SubmissionsShow content
Social Media: A Day in the Life of a Local Psychologist
We cordially invite you as NEEB members, who live, work or undertake relevant psychological in our region, to take up this excellent opportunity to publicise your work, or the work of you team.
Specifically, we would like a brief paragraph (no more than 1000 characters) outlining the current work you are doing or have done in the past (or as a typical day).
We would greatly appreciate a picture (preferably jpg) of you ‘in action’, so that we can both ‘show and tell’ of the work that is being done in the North East of England.
