Welcome to the DSEP Webinar: Self-Care in Practice: A Practical Workshop
Sport and exercise psychologists encounter various challenges and stressors working in applied practice. Developing preventative strategies, like professional self-care, is vital to applied practitioners work, helping to promote healthy functioning and enhance wellbeing.
The experiences of living through a global pandemic has highlighted the importance of self-awareness and self-care as key elements to effective practice. This workshop will focus on developing professional self-care in applied practice.
The workshop will include current research on self-care in the domain of sport and exercise and group discussion around the application and development of professional self-care. This event is free to DSEP members and of particular interest to sport and exercise practitioner psychologists and candidates undertaking stage 2 supervision.
