Shining a light on excellent psychology teaching
Applications are open for the Higher Education Psychology Teacher of the Year Award 2020.
Proudly supported by Oxford University Press and DARTP, this award aims to recognise and reward exceptional teaching talent.
The award is open to all employed psychology teachers in the UK higher education sector.
The competition aims:
- To provide national recognition and reward for commitment to psychology teaching for individuals in the UK higher education sector
- To raise the status of teaching in psychology as a scholarly activity
- To support individuals in reflecting upon and enhancing their professional practice in support of student learning
- To develop case studies of effective and/or innovative student learning and disseminate these nationally to enhance psychology student learning experiences across the UK
The prize:
The winner of the Higher Education Psychology Teacher of the Year Award 2020 will receive a personal prize of £1,500, a year of free membership to DARTP, and £250 worth of OUP books.
