The British Psychological Society is looking to recruit a diverse range of nine members from across the society, including student, graduate and chartered members, to join our newly created Membership Board.
Membership Board - Members
We are embarking on a major change programme designed to modernise the society and ensure that our membership benefits and services for each grade of membership are relevant and attractive.
The creation of a new Membership Board provides opportunities to play an active role in this.
Successful appointees will be involved in influencing and contributing to plans to update and enhance our revised member value proposition focussing on nurturing, developing and supporting members through their professional journey.
Although some experience of serving on BPS/Member Network committees is desirable, the main requirements for joining the board are:
- a desire to improve how the BPS meet the needs of its members
- a commitment to high standards of professionalism and ethics
- the ability to think strategically about membership the BPS in light of the rapid development and diversification of the discipline and the growing psychological therapies workforce
