Working relationally with adults with an intellectual disability - A discussion

This booklet is designed to inform and stimulate dialogue in the applied psychologies and sister disciplines.

30 December 2018

It is intended to offer an approach or perspective that highlights a relational focus. For some counselling psychologists this may be to enlarge their practice to include working with people with an intellectual disability in this way. For all psychologists working with people with an intellectual disability it offers an opportunity to think about working relationally.

This document is intended to complement the ‘Relational Series’ published by the Division of Counselling Psychology.
