Dr Julia Heath is the Lead Psychologist in the IPASS Service, which is an Integrated Pain and Spinal Service which operates at community or primary care level.
At this talk she will present how psychology is a key part of a multidisciplinary approach to manage persistent physical pain and will highlight the current conceptualisations and interventions based on CBT, ACT and Mindfulness.
This event will be useful for psychologists who work with clients who have persistent physical pain or other long term health conditions where physical pain is a part of the presentation.
It may also be useful for psychologists, and other pain management clinicians, who work with clients who have persistent physical pain or other long term health conditions where physical pain is a part of the presentation.
