The importance of a holistic approach to health and wellbeing is now being recognized in public health, education and medical arenas.

The focus of this research-informed workshop explores the triad of the mind, body and spirit through the lens of Taoist philosophical perspectives.

Specifically, this workshop will explore the coordinated interplay of the triad through Taoist practices including:

  1. Taoist meditative practices
  2. Five element theory and the I-Ching
  3. Taoist martial practices, specifically Bagua / Pakua
  4. Chi Kung breathing practices

The workshop will conclude with a group exercise to consider how approaches from the workshop can be applied in your field.
