This workshop provides a whole day of peer group Supervision of Supervision.
Participants work with their own issues relating to their supervision practice, and help others with theirs.
Attendance at the previous workshops is required and it is advisable to attend after a period of practical application.
This workshop provides ongoing support for those working as supervisors by providing an open, peer group development forum and opportunities to develop skills as supervisors and supervisees throughout the day.
Supervisors are encouraged to attend this day of the course as often as they require to satisfy the commitment to ongoing CPD and the need for supervision of their own practice as supervisors.
Completion of this series of four workshops confers eligibility for Chartered Psychologists to apply for entry onto the Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) via the approved training route.
The register is designed to recognise psychologists with special expertise in supervision. Here is more information on RAPPS.
The workshops are spread out to allow delegates time for reflection and practice, and should be attended sequentially. Feedback from previous delegates has stressed how valuable this course has been for their development as supervisors, and as supervisees.
Please allow enough time between workshops for reflection and practice. You must attend all four workshops sequentially. Attendance at day 3 is mandatory before attending this workshop. This workshop is for practising supervisors only.
Please note: Those interested in becoming a supervisor for BPS Qualifications, please call: +44 (0)116 252 9505 or email: [email protected].
