In this webinar Dr Angela Puca will tackle altered states of consciousness in shamanistic and magical practices.

Based on five years of fieldwork and a doctoral research on indigenous and trans-cultural shamanism in Italy, she will cover different forms of trance – otherwise defined as ‘states of inter-connectedness’ – whereby the practitioner deems to enter in contact with non-mundane realms of reality and states of being.

The matter of how the Self is redefined by such practices and the integrating narratives adopted through the means of myth and creative discourse will also be addressed.

The login details for this Webinar will be emailed to all registered delegates the day before the event.
